RESOURCES

PUBLICATION

As part of our goal to build awareness of Arnaqarvik history and artwork, we have created a booklet that can be printed and distributed offline. This publication currently contains content featured on this website, and will be periodically updated to reflect new insights and voices from our ongoing work. Click on the icon below to download a PDF version. We hope to have an Inuktitut version of this document available in the near future.

ONLINE COLLECTIONS

PI/KHS has a long-standing relationship with Carleton University's Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre (GCRC) to develop digital platforms customized for Inuit use. We have worked with GCRC to design a platform that compiles all of the material and archival collections related to Arnaqarvik project into a single virtual location. This platform encourages user contributions of content and metadata to existing collection records. Users can search through collections and upload additional text, audio or video records. We continue to add new content to the Arnaqarvik platform from museums, private and community collections across North America and beyond. This collections platform is in the beta development phase, so please bear with us as we continue to work on and refine its design.
